Confidence is a virtue and having it is a virtue itself.
All the greatest achievers were able to do what they did propelled by self-confidence. You have to have confidence in yourself and know your capabilities, only then can you confront any task without fear.
Self-confidence creates a kind of character within you that can experiment new ideas for your betterment. It gives you the freedom and courage to meet successful people you might wish to learn from.
Self-confidence helps you to face difficult assignments such as exams without feeling intimidated, it says: “You can do it, you can win”.
Boxer Muhammad Ali was able to predict the rounds he would dispose of his opponents, inspired by only self-confidence.
There used to be a student who used to go to pieces whenever the teacher announced that the class should expect an exam. He used to wet his pants every single day of that week. He would lose his appetite and wouldn’t eat for days on end. You can imagine the amount of teasing and ridicule he invited from the rest of the students!
Then one day, this young man decided he had had enough. He started regarding exams as mere tests written on mere pieces of paper that proved neither his genius nor imbecility. Slowly he built up enough confidence in himself. Soon he became the leading student in class in every test that would be tossed his way. Normalize the art of confidence.
